Baggage Allowance

A baggage allowance of 15kg per adult and 10kg per child applies.

Please ensure that if you intend to carry any of the items listed above that you advise our office prior to the day of travel.

Although every effort is made, King Island Airlines cannot guarantee to carry any of the above items on the same flight as passengers, as space restrictions may apply.

Check-in Times

Check-in must be at least 30 minutes before scheduled flight departure.

Flexi Fare & Child Fare

Flight changes or cancellations must be made at least 24hrs prior to scheduled departure time and will be subject to availability. Charges may apply.

Changes to flight bookings and cancellations are only available through our Call Centre.
Fare cancellation fees apply: outside 24 hours – 20%, 12-24 hours – 50%, less than 12 hours – no refund. Tickets may be held in credit to be used within 12 months from the date of first purchase. All bookings utilising such a credit can only be made via the Call Centre. Passengers who do not fly and do not notify us at least 12 hours prior to departure time will forfeit fare paid.

Passenger identification will be required at check-in.

Super Saver Fare

Flight changes or cancellations must be made at least 24hrs prior to scheduled departure time and will be subject to availability. Charges may apply.

Changes to flight bookings and cancellations are only available through our Call Centre.
This fare is non-refundable. Tickets may be held in credit to be used within 12 months from the date of first purchase. All bookings utilising such a credit can only be made via the Call Centre. Passengers who do not fly and do not notify us at least 12 hours prior to departure time will forfeit fare paid.

If a change of flight is required and no Super Saver Fares are available on the requested flight, a ticket may be upgraded to an Economy Fare. Any upgraded airfare will be the price of the original ticket, plus any applicable fare difference and change fee.

To be eligible for a resident airfare, a passenger must have lived permanently on King Island for a minimum of twelve months.

Return resident airfares can only originate from King Island.
